The coming week: Must Do, Should Do, Could Do
I’m trying something new this week, and depending on how it goes, it may become part of my routine.
I read about it in a book, but even searching my Kindle, I have no clue what book it was in. It obviously wasn’t all that memorable, BUT I do remember this concept.
The idea is to think about the things you MUST do, the things you SHOULD do, and then the things you COULD do. It’s meant as a daily exercise, and I did try it once before with some success. I will do it daily in private, but I wanted to do it publicly for the week and then post an update on Friday.
Must Do
- Finish reviewing a manuscript for someone and provide the feedback to them.
- Finish my series on moving from WordPress to Jekyll.
- Learn some new things about Azure for a project - the “things” are TBD on Monday when I check work email again.
- Follow-up with two clients to make sure they don’t need anything from me.
Should Do
- Take the AZ104 exam and pass it this time.
- Schedule the next few months of meetings for the meetup I run.
- Commit some code to GitHub that only lives on my Windows machine.
- Prep for a talk I’m giving on the 26th.
Could Do
- Figure out if a BIOS update will allow me to enable the functionality Microsoft says I’m missing in order to upgrade to Windows 11.
- Start working on some data analysis for an upcoming blog post I want to write.
